I had the chance to see my friend and fellow sax player, Ray Myers, perform at a new venue last night. The Ray Myers Band did its first show at the James Street Café in Burnaby. The place was packed, and the dance floor was jumpin’, as Ray kept the hits coming for 4 solid hours. Once I found them I don’t want to let them go. I have had the Ray Myers band at my house for the last 3 years. Each time I have had a party of about 130 people and we have had the band make the party. They are so versatile and dynamic we had all the guests dancing at different times and enjoying the music and rhythms. Ray has a great voice and superb styling and we love him. I saw your show in Cloverdale last week. You, and your band, looked and sounded better than ever. I had a great time, and I’m still singing along with your CD in the car, and banging on the steering wheel. The band was very tight, and I was quite impressed with your vocals.
